I've been always fascinated by the way IDM-like musicians treat remixing. And while I'd been working on my own IDM-ish electronic music many years ago as Veell, I loved creating remixes whenever I was asked to. With this one, I'm returning to remixing but now within my new project. I'm happy Olja was open to this kind of collaboration, since it's usually not the remixer who asks whether they can remix someone's song. But I liked her song so much, I couldn't resist asking.
